Welcome to The Oldani Connection!  Thanks for joining me and reading about my work.  By the way, my friends and students call me Dr. Jack…I hope you’ll do the same!

I started The Oldani Connection to fill a need I found in many disparate parts of our community culture.  As a professor, corporate consultant, author, newspaper columnist, and script writer, I've seen the need for a “Jack of all trades” to work with people at all levels.

My company and I can serve your needs through keynote addresses, personal and corporate assessments, training (everything from sexual harassment to interpersonal communication to stress management), executive and personal coaching, recruitment, presentation skills, and much, much more.

One of our specialties in communication skills is the application of folklore--the oral traditions--to any culture.  Every corporation, family, and individual has a lore, but how is it used?  How is it transmitted?  What does it reveal about a past and a future?  I've shown how this works in my book, Passing It On: Folklore of St. Louis.
